Merino Consolidated has a long and proud history, dating back to 1954 when a number of district schools amalgamated to form the school on its current site.  Work is currently being undertaken to dig back deeper and find out more regarding former schools such as Paschendale, Henty, Tahara and co. which joined to form what we now know as Merino Consolidated.  Click here to read our 'About Us...'

What does the future hold?  Students are learning these days in very exciting and stimulating environments - with this particularly being the case at Merino.  The final touches are just being put on a state-of-the-art portable, fitted with interactive whiteboards.  Each child in grade 3-6 will have one-to-one access to a computer in the classroom to enable them to learn and thrive in a world that sees technology changing on a daily basis.  Along with the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, education is certainly an exciting way of life at Merino Consolidated.

The students at Merino make the most of every opportunity that comes their way.  Whether it be sporting achievements, participating in music eisteddfod events, utilising different forms of technology or achieving high academic results across the curriculum, students at Merino are provided with the platform to achieve their very best.  Here children thrive in their sense of belonging within a proud community.  Where else will you see all children from grades Prep right through to year six playing the same game together, running, smiling and enjoying their education!
